4 foot fluorescent bulbs

Friends told me that I would need to purchase a new led-type light fixture when my old fluorescent bulbs finally died. I don't like to unnecessarily throw things away, so when I discovered that Canadian Tire had replacement fluorescent bulbs that fit my very old light fixture, I was over the moon! Thank-you Canadian Tire.

Q: Hi, I just bought this from Canadian Tire and installed. The light keeps flickering and it doesn't go bright. It just looks dim and flickers. Any idea why?

A: My tubes work okay, but I am thinking the tubes you have are not exactly the same as my tubes. My tubes are "Sylvania Octron Vivid Value". They are only 1" in diameter and are 32 watt. Good luck.
