Wow, cette barrière est parfaite ! Simple, efficace et très facile à installé en quelques minutes avec le gabarit inclus. Elle remplace ma Supergate III (Article #46-2149-8) qui ne possède pas de pentures d'onc il fallait sans cesse la retirer et la remettre en place ou l'enjambé ce qui est plutot dangereux ! Celle ci a des pentures et ne requiert que 4 trous (vis) au lieux de 6 et plus. Un côté a des pentures l'autre tiens en place avec un système de pression très facile à utilisé d'une seule main. De plus sa conception fait en sorte que les tout petit ne peuvent pas y grimper ! Je la recommande à tout le monde, elle vaut bien son prix.

Great Gate

I bought this to keep a 2 year old and a 4 year old out of my computer area and it works great ! I read the other reviews after I bought this gate and was surprised by some of the negative reviews I am not sure if they got lemons but for the price this is a great Baby gate, easy to install and use I will be getting a couple more.

Bought two of these gates - one for top of the stairs and one for the bottom. They were to be pressure mounted since we rent and did not want to destroy the walls. I'm considering returning the gates because of the following: 1) Learnt that because of safety reasons, you cannot/should not pressure mount at the top of the stairs ie; it needs to be fixed to the wall for absolute safety. So need to find a better solution. 2) The latch and handle are "sticky". Maybe we bought a dud gate but expected more from such a reputable brand. It's also hard to extend or retract the gate and, because it's to be pressure mounted at the bottom of the stairs, this could prove to be time consuming and no doubt frustrating. I guess at the end of the day regardless if you have safety/baby gates, you never, ever let them out of your sight!!

Do NOT buy!!!

I bought two of these gates less than four months ago. I was using them as pressure mount, & they have both already broken. They no longer expand to fit tighter when you lock the handle, so they just fall out of the door way. They are also prone to falling apart when you fully extend them, & are a pain to get back together. Save your money, these are junk.

Hard to use

We have had this gate for over a year now, using it for our son and our dog. When you pull the handle up to open it, it doesn't always keep the same size and then you have to readjust it to the size of your door. A real nuisance. Other than that, the dog can't open it and our son is baffled by it.
