This is a beautifully designed pepper/salt grinder. My favorite part about it is the small feature at the top, you can flip the S to read P for whatever is inside. Also, it looks beautiful on my counter. It was hard to find minimalist pepper mills.

Q: how does the top come off

A: The top doesn’t come off….but sometimes it’s hard to turn because it gets slippery. I sometimes grab a dish towel to get a good grip. It’s very sleek looking and the rating was high, which was why I purchased it. However, I would not recommend it.

A: Not battery operated. Top comes off you fill replace top turn to dispense out bottom. S and P are magnetic for top of the mill. I love them. I have two.
