Q: What is the diameter of the umbrella / height of the umbrella when open in tent form? It's not clear if the "height" in the description is the height/length of the pole or the open umbrella when set down on the ground in "tent" form
5 months agoA: The diameter is about 12 ft — that’s the width of the front opening — and the height of the shade is about 5 ft at the front. The dimensions given in the “Features” section are accurate.

Q: How does one release the umbrella to lower it?
2 years agoA: Thanks for your enquiry into our popular OUTBOUND Beach Umbrella Shade! When setting up the item the main hub portion simply slides up the center pole, opening exactly as a regular umbrella would. To close, all you should need to do is reverse the process – slide back down the pole. If you have removed the pole once opened - for more usable space under the shelter – you do need to reattach (screw back in) in order to take it down. Enjoy the summer ahead!
