This whole can was good for 2 applications for a giant wasp nest. Didn't seem like it was working when first applied the foam but it was definitely effective and nest is silent now.

Q: Since yellow jackets are a type of wasp, I suspect this would work on them? They seem to have a nest, unfortunately, right next to an entrance step where it meets the wall of the house. A very low and narrow space, but they can slip in and out.
