Insects that are directly sprayed should die within 1-2 hours. Insects contacting sprayed surfaces should die within 24 hours. If there is an infestation of insects, you should notice a reduction in the insect population within 24-48 hours for smaller pests and 4-6 days for larger pests such as cockroaches. Perimeter Treatment: Applying insecticides along the bottom of doors, vents, and utility openings, as well as underneath the bottom edge of your home's siding, can help prevent pill bugs from entering. Safety Precautions: Always follow the safety instructions provided with the pesticide product and keep it away from children and pets. Moisture Control: Pill bugs thrive in damp environments, so addressing moisture issues in your home (like leaky pipes or excessive humidity) can also help reduce their presence. Other methods: You can also use diatomaceous earth to desiccate or dry out pill bugs, therefore killing them. Sealing Entry Points: Seal cracks and openings in the outside foundation wall, and around the bottoms of doors and basement windows to prevent pill bugs from entering.

A: Cover fish aquariums and remove all other pets, including birds, from the room during application of Ortho Home Defense MAX Home Insect Killer. Once the product has dried thoroughly, pets can reenter the area.

Q: does this work on fruit flies, I've had a fruit fly problem for 2 weeks now and I've used probably 7 traps and its just getting worse!
