Does Not Work for Mercedes!

This brake fluid does not meet Mercedes-Benz standards! M-B specifies DOT4+ brake fluid that has a wet boiling point of 180C and a dry boiling point of 260C. This product has a wet boiling point of 155C and dry of 230C. Viscosity is also unique in the DOT4+. Why risk messing up a very expensive ABS/Traction system?
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: It is a clear fluid like the vast majority of brake fluid. If the fluid in your master cylinder has some colour to it it’s likely old dirty and discoloured. Most VW, BMW, and Benz call for DOT4 fluid and this fluid will work fine... read the small writing on your master cylinder cap it likely says dot4 fluid only

Q: I've looked at both the OEM Asian and OEM European DOT 4 brake fluid bottles and the specification on the back of the bottles are EXACTLY the same. So how exactly are these products "formulated expressly" for an Asian or European car?

A: The fact that both product have similar call outs is not indicative that the formula inside the bottle is the same. All it means is both products meet these same Federal Standards. All products need to meet min Federal Standards. If you want more information, please visit the product page.
