The vibration from the fan blade(?) made low frequency noise loud

Intended to give 2.5/5.
Purchased this item on Dec. 21st, brought it back on 23rd to the store.
The moment I turned on this heater. I could hear those low frequency vibrations clearly from the moving fan.
Perhaps it's because I have a relatively medium size room in an old house and the wooden floor makes vibration of the fans unbearable...if you need a quiet heater, especially for a baby, this is not the one I will recommend.
Nevertheless, the heating ability was good. If all you need is a decent heater and some noise is not an issue, it's not a bad option. Unfortunately I can't tolerate the noise level that came with it.
A heads up: if you want to try this heater out because you could tolerate some level of noise and all you need is a decent heater, ask the store of their return policy.
I was not able to return even though it's barely used because the package was already opened.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: It's a fan for the heater. It only moves air around. It's not a cooling unit.

Q: Aside from the ECO setting, should the heater turn off by itself when set on HI? It seems to turn on and off in a few minute cycles. The heater is not near any other items and is on a flat surface.

A: Returned the unit for replacement and the new one stays on the HI setting without shutting off. Very happy with the unit now as it works great!

Q: The small "thermometer" red light (above the "ECO" light) suddenly came on, today. The manual doesn't make any reference to this. The heater operates normally otherwise. What does the light mean? And how do you turn it off?

A: Disconnect the power supply and reconnect after a minute and hopefully the red light should go off.

A: Yes, you press the power button and then, if the fan and heat are going, it gives you a 15 second countdown and then shuts off.

A: that has happened to one of the heaters I purchased. I believe there is a problem with the thermostat. If your heater is under warranty, returning/exchange it. Unfortunately mine is no longer under warranty

Q: How do you remove the battery cover from the remote? The manual says press down and slide it out, but when I do that, it doesn't come out. There seems to be an obstruction or something. I don't want to force it in case it breaks.

A: No, not in my experience. The sound is constant. Is yours on a level surface? I don't use the oscillate feature regularly, although I had no issues with it either.

Q: Does the timer functionality allow for me to set it to turn ON at a certain time? I would like to have it turn on at a point in the night and was unclear wether or not it did this?

A: No you cannot turn it on at a certain time. You can turn it on for a preset length of time and it will shut off after the time runs out.
