Keep the overhead lights going with a NOMA LED T8 Tube Light. This tubelight for home features a T8 style connection base and is non-dimmable. The tube light bulb uses only 32W of energy and is ideal as a replacement bulb for standard fluorescent bulbs, providing an impressive 50,000 hours of life. The colour temperature of 4000K allows for a neutral light with balanced tones. The NOMA T8 LED tube light measures 48" in length.

Requires electronic ballast and is not compatible with magnetic ballast light fixtures.
Please note that most newer shop light fixtures will operate using an electronic ballast. However if you have a shop light fixture that is 10 years old or more there is a higher likelihood that it operates on a magnetic ballast. You will know that you had a magnetic ballast if your fixture is flickering as it turned on and hums during operation.

Do not last.

I bought four of these two years ago. Three are burned out already with 6 hours use per day. According to the specs, they should last for 50,000 hrs. Mine lasted about 4,000.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: My fixtures have magnetic ballast and the led lights don't work. The label on the tube says only for electronic ballast so the previous answers are incorrect.

Q: are these light bulbs compatible with a magnetic rapid start ballast, Advance part # RM-2S35-TP? Can they be installed without bypassing the ballast?

Q: Do these tubes require a fluorescent ballast to operate, or can I bypass the ballast and wire it to 110VAC? If so, do the tubes care if the tombstones are shunted or not?

Q: Is the light output the same as Philips F40WT12/DX I also have Philips F40T12/WW, how do they compare in output? Please do not reply with Lumens and Colour temperature as I do not understand these comparisons. ("brighter", "same as" or "dimmer" will suffice)

A: If the Lumens on the Philips item is less than 1700 lumens then it would be dimmer than the Feit Electric Bulb. If they are greater than 1700 Lumens, it would be brighter than the Feit Electric bulb: equal to 1700 Lumens would be same as. For Color Temperature Kelvins: if the Philips bulb is 4100 then it would be same as the Feit Electric bulb: greater than 4100K, then it would produce a whiter light: less than 4100K, then it would produce a softer / warmer light.
