I bot my old lamp tube and came to store TWICE and checked with store rep if the lamp I m going to buy is compatible since my old one is a tube needs electrical ballast and new one is a led lamp. The rep gave positive feedback but turned out it didn’t work

A: Read packaging carefully. It depends if your fixture has an "instant start" ballast. It did not work for my fixtures, will be looking for a direct wire replacement and just cut out my ballasts. Good luck. P.s. was able to return the next day no problem

Q: Is this tube single-end powered or double-end powered? Does installation require bypassing the ballast?

A: Does Product# 052-9709 work with a magnetic ballast or does it require an electronic ballast? It does not appear that Product# 052-9708 is available at Canadian Tire.
