It keeps our upstairs nice n cold even on the eco mode! I would have got another on if they weren't sold out. Great deal for great ac. It still is as loud as any other window AC but with the eco mode u get some piece n quiet ever so often which is nice.

A: It's plug and play, you shouldn't have any problems. Start with the store and get to the manufacturer for a new remote.

Q: When I try to set the timer to come on in a certain amount of hours, the air conditioning will continue to still run. Is it not supposed to turn off and then come back on in x amount of hours (say if I had the timer set for 2 hours?) how do I fix this?

A: Setting the Air Conditioner to Turn On: • ●Plug in the air conditioner and use the remote to power it ON. • ●Use the remote to set the desired mode, temperature, fan speed, etc. • ●Use the remote to power OFF the air conditioner. • ●Press TIMER on the remote and use the UP /DOWN buttons to set the desired delay time until the air conditioner Setting the Air Conditioner to Turn Off: • ●Plug in the air conditioner and use the remote to power it ON. • ●Use the remote to set the desired mode, temperature, fan speed, etc. • ●Press TIMER on the remote and use the UP /DOWN buttons to set the desired delay time until the air conditioner To Cancel Timer: Press the TIMER button again. Once a “beep” is heard and the indicator disappears, the TIMER mode has been canceled.

A: Someone answered: For this model it is E-Star certified, so according to E-Star standard it must be in ECO mode after every restart, sorry it can't be in the previous state before being turned off. I say: True, i try eco mode & it restarted with the same settings but i would of bought another make if i would of known.I have a Frigidaire that is e-star & it restart in the same settings, any mode, just bizarre.

Q: Does this AC use indoor air only -- or is there a function or vent you can close to ensure only indoor air is recirculated? (for days of smoke!)

Q: I don't see any way to drain the AC in the bottom or back sides of the unit, is there a way to remove the condensation without drilling a hole in it? My unit is tilted as the manual indicates but it is not dripping water at all.

Q: the instruction manual for this at the end of the Installation section says not to use the Cool mode as it may ice up the compressor and the unit won't work well. what???? cool mode is the mode which cools the room guys.... so what gives!
