Q: Can these light bulbs be used for range hood (extractor over stove)?

A: In theory yes. Manufacturer says 10000hrs. But in real life they burn within few months. Better buy incandescent.

A: I don't know where it's written, but I CAN tell you this is a small bulb---like 3 inches tall & 2 inches across the bulb face.... but the part you screw in is normal/standard in size

Q: How can this bulb use only 7W? According to the specs it says, 120V, and 125mA. As far as I know formula for Wattage is V x A so thats 120 * 0.125 = 15W. I just put these bulbs everywhere in my house and at the end i checked the specs of the bulbs.

A: Hi, the 125mA means when the electric current is under 125mA, and we do the temperature test, it can meet the UL safety requirement. It doesn't mean the acutal work electric current but means when the bulb work under 125mA, it's safe. Hope it helps, thank you.
