A: Canadian Tire sells decent dimmer switches that can be used with this light bulb. Here is the title of the dimmer that is great for all purpose use and these bulbs. I only fond it in a 2pk but your closest store may be able to sell it in a single now that you know the specifications of the product that would work. Leviton 06674-756 Decora SureSlide Universal Slide Dimmer, 600W Incandescent, 150W Dimmable LED/CFL, White, 2-pk You would want the one with the switch at the bottom as it is easiest to work with and you can always have your lights at a present dimmed light if needed. it is the best option. I work in lighting and we even grab dimmers from Canadian Tire for homes if needed. Good prices and they do a good job for simple applications. If you need a 3-way dimmer (in a situation whereby you want to have dimmable access from one area to the same light and then in another area for the same light, then just make sure the package on the dimmer says 3-way and incandescent with the 600watt max on it. The 600 watt max only insures you are covered for a typical load as you never want to over load a dimmer. a 600watt dimmer should only have about 450watts load on one dimmer switch. To find that out, in simple terms, you just count how many light fixtures on each switch and add up the wattage of each bulb being used in those fixtures. There you will have your load. Just make sure it doesn't really go over the 450watt as best as possible for optimal performance and so the dimmer does heat up.).
