Refreshing fan

Very sturdy fan. Base is heavy to support it from tipping when outside. Misting works well and very refreshing. Components are primarily plastic and I don’t think they will last. The first time I pulled the plastic string to turn it on the knob broke off. If you treat it gently it should be fine. Overall I’m happy with it but planning to change those components I think may not last.

Works well and all metal both for the mist and the fan Ever sit out side and find it really hot so hot that you have to go inside to air conditioner. Now with the mist and fan you can now just be outside and be cooler.

This fan works great. I bought it to put outside in my Chickens area to help keep them cool when it’s too hot outside. it has a lot of power and the misting feature works perfect I’m really glad that I bought this as it will help to keep me calm and not worry about my chickens when the weather is too hot

Q: will this unit draw water from a bucket or does it require the water pressure from a hose connection to force water to the misting nozzles?

A: The base will hold an amount of water. I have turned off the hose, and the mister continued to produce mist (up to 10 minutes) because of the reservoir in the base. I have not tried a bucket. I think if you siphon from the bucket being at a higher level, it might work.

A: It hooks up to a hose. No reservoir. There are 8 or 10 nozzles, I have it put away for the winter so can’t check exactly.

Q: How does the fan connect to a water source? How much area does it cover?

A: There is a tube running from the fan that has an attachment to a garden hose outlet. When mist and fan are turned on high it covers about 150 square feet. We have a 12x12 gazebo that we use it with.

Q: Can you tell me what the nozzle sizes are on the fan, and can they be replaced or swapped out if someone wants a finer mist?

A: The mist is very fine. I doubt you will wish to swap out the nozzles. Really worked well in the heat of summer to keep cool.

Q: Can this fan be left outside when it rains. Will it impact the plug or fan?

A: It is rated for outdoors and most likely to be used during hot weather. Take it indoors if it's not in use. It most likely has a GFI but I can't guarantee that.
