You Can Do Better

The heater is supposed to turn off when the room is heated to the selected temperature. mine does not. At 22 degrees, it kept heating past 25! I have to set it to 19, and it stops around 22 or 23. The oscillation is very limited, as the inside rotates, not the entire heater. If you just want an area hot, this could work. Just don't buy this and expect it to be accurate.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: NO, this heater cannot be used without the fan being on. I was hoping for the same thing, a silent baseboard heater. The fan is always on, no matter what mode it is set to. The fan, although doesn't have an annoying sound, is certainly noticeable, around 40-50 decibles.

Q: Just bought one. Great, but is it supposed to shut off when it reaches desired temperature? How? In which mode? Mine is not shutting off…

A: Mine wouldn't turn off either, unless I set it well below the temperature I wanted. E.g. set at 15C to make the room 19C.

Q: If power fails will this heater restart at the settings that were in effect before outage when the power returns?

A: The technical answer is yes, HOWEVER, it does not come back on at the settings you had in place. The manual says that it will come back on but at a manufacturers pre-set setting which is High mode at 45 degrees Celsius. I was heating a 6 x 6 sq.ft. water well house and wanted a heater that would come on automatically after a power failure while I was away for a month in the winter. I was concerned that potentially this heater would run for a month at this temperature for such a small space! A better solution for my application is the Milkhouse Heater, Can.Tire #043-8409-0. Not pretty but effective!

A: Ça prend une batterie 2032 plate mais attention il faut la placer dans la partie plasic rétractable et non pas dans l'ouverture directement. Si ça marchj pas c,est que la batterie est à l'envers

A: It's a tower/baseboard ceramic heater, the product is very quite and comfortable use, the heating fan air speed is not very strong.

Q: We purchased a Noma Oscillating Ceramic Tower/baseboard Heater with Fan, model 043-5118-0.. What is the battery type used in the remote???? It would be extremely helpful for the customer to have this battery type printed on the outside of the box.

A: 1. If the environment temperature < set temperature -10℉ The heater runs in high setting. 2. If the set temperature -10℉ < Environment temperature < Set temperature +5℉ The heater runs in low setting. 3. Environment temperature > set temperature +5℉ The heating function will stop. The heater will stop in 15 seconds.
