Q: The item description states that it is 90% efficient, the packaging on front of item in picture says 85% efficient. Which is correct?

A: Great question. There was a package and filter media change from the NOMA blue insert to NOMA red insert. Both are correct. Blue is 90% efficient. NOMA red is 85% efficient at the E3 range. NOMA blue will be discontinued when inventory is depleted. NOMA red will be standard packaging moving forward. Both filters perform very well and test as a Merv 11 as per ASHRAE guidelines.
