Good at first but...

Bought these bulbs about one year ago and although they are great at first, I already had two light burn out from a lot of 6 bulbs. I bought these considering the low consumption and long life technology, and I am extremely disappointed that it appears to be roughly one year out of the 22.8 years claimed on the package. If it is so great, why not provide a longer warranty period than one year. I would get a longer use out of the original Halogen bulbs and less expensive. Will try another LED brand before going back to Halogen. Simply put, stay away for this product.

Great LED bulbs!

After giving these a try, I keep buying-out the stock as I replace them throughout the house. They are quiet (no buzzing), and very bright. I'm replacing halogen bulbs and find the light from these LED's brighter and warmer. Consider; if you have 30 of these halogens, at 50 W each it's 1500 W total. At 8 W for LED, that's 240, total. You could have all 30 on for less than the Wattage of 5 halogen. I have not been able to find anything similar at near the same price point. Overall, these are a great deal, and I hope are a sign of things to come as LED prices continue to fall.
