After many years of looking for a replacement for our incandescent globe bulbs, these have finally arrived! They are pricier than a conventional LED, but they are dimmable and don't have the plastic base...light comes out in all directions. Only issue is that you can see the text/info on the bulb...I wish this was a sticker that could be removed. Note that you need a dimmer switch compatible with LED lights.
