Price is good, but don't last

These bulbs would be great if they actually lasted, I've had 6 bulbs across two separate packs fail within 1 year which is well below the rated life. I don't have the bulbs in an enclosure so they should not have died because of heat. I'm not sure why they die so quickly

Les ampoules ne durent pas. Je les ai acheté pour remplacer des ampoules incandescantes et 2 ne fonctionnent plus après quelques mois alors que les vieilles ampoules incandescantes dans le même luminaire fonctionnent encore.

Q: We’ve noticed these lightbulbs flicker very subtlety (so quickly you can only tell if you move your hand back and forth quickly) what would cause this?

A: LEDs flicker due to the speed at which they go from dark to full bright at 60 Hertz. Incandescent lamps do not flicker because they remain relatively hot during the period they are receiving low power.

Q: Why do these bulbs have writing on the visible side? What can remove the writing?

Q: There is a rubber/silicone 'gasket' at the top of the base just below the glass. Is this meant to be removed, or can it be removed? What is its' purpose?

A: We put this silicone "gasket" on the base for insulation, please keep it and it cannot be removed.
