It not worth the hassle.

I purchase this for my wife, she tried to put it together but was unable to. She brought it back to store for someone to help her put it together. She was poorly treated and she felt the employee made her feel like she was trying to steal something. My wife was total disgusted and very upset.

Bad product and bad CT return policy

A really disappointing Noma product. A high level of noise even at low setting and squeaks during oscillation. I had to return it and and replace it with a heater .

Decent fan, moves a lot of air

Bought this fan about two months ago. Works very well at moving air without excessive noise on the first speed. It's not as loud as people claim it is unless your on the second and third speeds. In the time owning this fan, I haven't needed to run it on max speed, thats how effective it is at moving air. One of the pros of this fan is the operational beeps are very muted/silent compared to some other noma fan models, sometimes I don't hear the operational beeps. Second pro is the round weighted stand base versus an x shape base and the fan is very sturdy when assembled. The first fan I brought home had the back of the motor housing cracked and was exchanged without issue. The replacement was making an annoying squeaking sound during oscillation, but it was an easy fix. If you happen to get a unit that squeaks during oscillation the fix is to remove the front cover off the motor housing that the rear cage is screwed into, you will see a small ball bearing and a rubber gasket, a very small squirt of WD-40 was enough to stop the squeaking since I've done it. Overall a great fan, the only cons are the remote sensor on the stand pole has a narrow angle range to detect remote commands and the LED lights stay on during operation and can be bright at night and may not be the best option for a dark room needed to sleep. You will also need two AAA batteries for the remote , highly recommended

A: You can't, there is no way to turn off led lights as they stay on all the time. If they really bother you, put black electrical tape around the whole pole where the lights are
