I find this heater to be really useful. It certainly gives off good heat and the timer, remote etc makes it very versatile. It's quite light and easy to move too

Bought this help heat and umheatwd area of our old farmhouse and it has done such a better job than the previous fan heaters we have had! Has kept the area warmer and so much nicer to have none of the noise of a fan constantly blowing. I actually turned the thermostat down as it was almost too warm up there! Wish we had bought one sooner. For reference we have this heating a ~300 square foot attic space.

A: oil in these types of heaters is not used up as fuel, but merely serves to help circulate heat evenly within the unit. The oil generally never needs replacement.

A: In my original answer, I should have said, that once the oil has been heated at the higher wattage, the using uses 550 to 600W as it cycles on and off to keep the temperature at 19C. It does not use a constant 550-600W. Also, keep in mind that the thermostat is about knee level, so 19C at that height can be 20C or above at chest height.
