Q: Should this be safe in an older fixture rated for 60w, from a heat perspective? Obviously the wattage itself is far below 60w but what about the heat dissipation?

A: I don't think these are safe in any fixture and won't buy them. They're very poor quality and don't last as advertised. They're shoddy at best and I know a guy who went to change one that was faulty and it was hot to the touch... And LED lightbulb hot to the touch. Don't buy these.

Q: What is the minimum operating temperature? Is this shatter resistant? I plan on using it outdoors on a light fixture.

A: It won't last very long. If you plan on using these anywhere be prepared to change them within weeks or months. I stopped buying them because of their poor quality and less than advertised durability. A guy I work with had one flicking and was hot to the touch... This is an LED bulb that was hot to the touch. I would never ever buy or recommend these to anyone. We need to bring manufacturing back to north america because these things are shoddy at best and unsafe at worst. Canadian Tire censores many of these honest reviews though. The five star reviews on these bulbs are obviously from bot farms.

Q: Re the NOMA 100 W equivalent LED lamp ( 052-9893-6 ) which dimmers are compatible with it? The box says to go to canadiantire.ca to find the list but it does not seem to exist.
