This NOMA dehumidifier features a sizable 50 pint internal storage and features two fan speeds, high and low, so you can customize how it operates depending on your needs. Title: Absolute lifesaver after basement water issue

This dehumidifier was a total game changer for us. After a sump pump failure caused water intrusion around the entire perimeter of our basement, this unit made a huge difference in pulling moisture out quickly and efficiently.
Since the unit had to run continuously, I really appreciated how quiet it is—it made a big difference having it on around the clock. The ability to hook up a hose for continuous drainage instead of constantly emptying the reservoir was incredibly convenient and saved a lot of time and effort.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with the performance and would highly recommend this to anyone dealing with excess moisture or a similar situation. A true lifesaver.

Failure after two years

Lasted two years compressor just died not collecting water . Only ran it in summer stored it away rest of time . Was good till then

Changement au modèle.

Avril 2026. J'ai acheté ce désumidificateur il y a quelques semaines pour remplacer l'autre d'avant. J'ai acheté le même qu'avant car il fonctionnait très bien. Environ 30 mois d'utilisation mais il a cédé. Le nouveau a changé de configuration, mais honnêtement je préférais celle d'avant. La sortie pour la connexion du tuyau a la pump étant maintenant sur le côté rend moins pratique et moins esthétique le produit. Tout comme la sortie de la fan sur le dessus. Il n'y a plus de petite fenêtre pour voir le niveau d'eau dans le bac non plus. Malgré tout il fonctionne bien pour l'instant.

Expensive and only lasts 2 summers! It's not used all year, just when it's too humid in the summer. Now it's already dead.

Q: Le déshumidificateur ne collecte pas l’eau dans son réservoir. J’en ai acheté deux et ils ont le même problème. L’eau s’accumule et coule par ses orifices dessous et vers l’arrière. Si je dévisse le bouchon arrière l’eau s’écoule par là aussi.

- A: The E9 error is a commonly reported problem that I am also dealing with. Noma should figure out why their units have the problems that lead to the E9 error and fix their design or manufacturing process; otherwise, they will lose customers like me. I was told by the company that looks after replacement parts for this brand that repetitive E9 error was due to leaking refrigerant, not the sensor. Dehumidifiers should last more than a few springs and summers. If Noma can design and build one that reliably lasts 5-10 years, is easy to maintain, and is fairly priced for the quality, they will regain my support.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: I plan to use garden hose to drain the unit to a floor drain which is only 3ft away. Do I have to use the pump option or simply let gravity drain the dehumidifier?

- A: Yes, gravity drain is one of the three options. Just connect a length of cut off garden hose (or any hose with female adaptor) through the side access door and water will flow down your hose to a drain instead of into the bucket. Saves a lot of emptying the bucket and allows the unit to run continuously. Pump option is only needed when water must be lifted higher to drain in laundry tub etc.3 years agoHelpful?

- A: A) It is NOT a pipe It is a HOSE.. B) Click on the MANUAL in the middle of this page... OR... read the one that came with your unit... OR... go the website of the manufacturer and read it for yourself. C) The manual says 3/4" (19mm) hose.3 years agoHelpful?
