We came up to Vancouver and stayed with some friends who had this fan in our guest room. Loved it so much, went to local Canadian Tire and bought one for my husband to drive home to Reno with as you cannot get these in the U.S. Have never seen or experienced anything like it and we couldn't be happier with our purchase! It's now in our bedroom at home in the Nevada desert and it's helping with our sleeping comfort.

Q: This fan seems to have just 3 speeds, not 9. The remote cycles the fan through 1, 2, and 3 speeds, not 1 - 9. Is this a defective fan?

A: Your fan is not defective. There are 3 fan modes, with 3 speed levels for each fan mode. 3 x 3 = 9. The description makes it sound like there are 9 speed levels for each fan mode, but this is not the case. This information is on page 8 of the user manual. Hope this answer helps you.

Q: Our fan has three cycles, but the 3 speeds in each cycle do not change speeds. Our fan is technically only able to go at 3 different speeds overall. Is this defective?
