You'll end up replacing it very soon. I like the color temperature of the light, but it's not worth it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    do not last long

I thot they had not been lasting long as it seemed I was replacing them frequently. So the last one I installed July 19, 2010 and I have just installed one today Nov 1, 2013. This is in a room where the lights are not used very much.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Not Worth Using

I have had to replace 3 of these in less then 1 year but regular incandescent bulbs in the same room last around 3 years each.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Improperly named

These are not ultra mini spirals. The Blue Planet soft white ones are. These have a larger base and will not fit in some wall or ceiling lamps with tighter lamp shades where a regular incandescent would fit. I tried and they did not screw all the way in which prevented them from turning on. It's too bad because I do prefer cool white to soft white

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: What level of UV rays do these lights emit? My eyes are sensitive to UV light, and with the media coverage these types of lights have been receiving lately, I am concerned. Have these lights been tested for UV levels, and if so, what are the levels reported?

    • A: Not a problem with CFLs. You'll get more UVs looking out the window.
