Not what I expected

Not what I expected, the website sort of made it seem like it was battery operated (didn’t need to be plugged to work) but was not rechargeable. Also didn’t work very well in my car- had issues getting the feed to stay on longer than a few minutes.

Purchased this in the fall of 2024, at the end of February 2025, it kept shutting off. I noticed it was flashing “insert memory card”. I thought the card was full and replaced it. Now it won’t turn on, all I get is a red light. Tried resetting and disconnecting the power, pressing the buttons etc. Nothing changes. I can’t find my receipt and the box was recycled. I don’t recommend.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Please contat our support team, (support.canada@adesso.com) to arrange returning the defective dash cam and we will give you a brand new one at no charge,
even through you have lost your reciept that is not a problem, our support team with the dash cam info and SN can still assit you with retreving that info. Also please be sure to advise them where you purchased it from as all of our authorized resellers have copies of transaction on file.

Older Tech with less support

Went to plug the camera in and found it doesn’t not have a USB plug for the car, it’s a cigarette lighter plug. The plug into the camera is upside down when attached to the windshield, points up. When attempting to register it for the 6 months of extra warranty, you are to scan the QR code. See the picture attached, the site doesn’t exist. There are 2 different Apps that come up for the company, don’t know which one is correct. This is going back to CT, you definitely pay for what you get.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can I install it on Dash instead of windshield and change view setting?

    A: Aside from certain dashboards not working, you also can't change the view so it would not be able to record at a proper angle.

Q: The auto start feature almost never works, although it always shuts off when the engine is off. Tried resetting and no difference. Is there a way to make this work consistently?

    A: Hello. The Orbit 132's operating temperature range is -10°C~65°C. If the camera is subjected to temperatures outside this range for a prolonged period, it may be damaged or need to be brought to its operating temperature range to function properly.

Q: Bought the geko orbit 132 yesterday and set it up immediately but it keeps saying to insert SD card. I have turned the power off and removed and reinstalled the SD card that came with it but it doesn't recognize that the card is installed. How do?

It's possible that a fault with the SD card reader or the SD card itself has resulted in its failure to recognize that a card is inserted.
