9 years agoA: The Viscosity for the MotoMaster Semi Synthetic Extreme Pressure grease at 40C would be 68 cSt. The Mystik JT-6 Synthetic Hi-Temp 220 #2 would have a viscosity of 220cSt at 40C.

Q: Is this grease suitable for prop shaft use? I need it for an utv, the drive shaft has a Zerk Fitting where it enters the engine. My manual only says "use Polaris premium U- Joint Lube"
9 years agoA: Polaris Premium Synthetic U-Joint Lube is grease that contains both graphite and moly. Citgo does not manufacture a cross for this Polaris grease and always advises its customers to follow their OEM instruction manual.

Q: Is Motomaster Semi-Synthetic grease suitable for cv joints ?
11 years agoA: Constant Velocity Joints (CVJs) are a unique application. The lubrication of the joint is not difficult. However, the boots that contain the grease in the joint are made from a wide variety of materials and combinations of materials. As a consequence of this variety of materials, we do not recommend any grease for CVJs unless we have first tested the compatibility of the grease with the boot material. If the grease and boot are not compatible, the boot can harden and crack or soften and swell. Either of these can result in the loss of lubrication and failure of the joint.
