    Stripped screws

Right out of the box one of small screws for hardwired connections was stripped. I had to find a screw one size larger to make it work. If I wasn’t so far out of town I would have taken it back.

    Menu button dilemma

Menu button only shows solar power and does not change when pressed when unit was installed. Also corrosion on cables makes my electrician think it was used and not new. I have gone back to my 1500w that I have had for years. Will be returning this unit.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    So far so good!

I have been trying to run a decent size ac unit with a few Canadian tire specials and this one is the only one to do it so far. Day 2 no complaints. The 3 year replaceable warranty is nice to have. This one is huge considering the 3000watt non sine wave was half the size.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: I want to run a welder off of this and need a minimum of 2,000 watts and up to 2,500 watts. Will this provide this or is it one of those useless kinds that is really just two 1,500 watts one on each receptacle?

    • A: Thank you. And yes, I have 2 sets of batteries of 12 volts each and 280 Ah each. For a total of over 7,000 watts or 7 KW. And they are Lifepo and so can discharge 1C as needed. And after you mentioned it I looked at all of the pictures and seen the hard wire part. I like the idea of running wire from a separate circuit breaker unit. Thank you for your help and information. and ideas. :)

Q: Can’t this be used with solar

    • A: I use it for my solar setup at my cabin. And have had no issues. Its quiet and runs fine. I have been told it would have been more efficient to setup my batteries on 24v and use a different inverter to avoid loss in lines from the batteries to the inverter but it works and I'm happy

Q: Bonjour, je ne comprends pas pourquoi mon convertisseur tombe en surcharge alors que la charge ne dépasse même pas 2600W. Il est supposé pouvoir soutenir 3000W en continu.

Q: Can 2 inverters be hooked side by side and cables joined on the 120v side to be used as whole house power source?

    3 Answers
    • A: No, absolutely not - two AC 120v power sources cannot be connected together (in most cases, unless they are made to synchronise with each other, which these are not). The two AC sources will be out of sync and will short each other out - and possibly destroy the inverters if the breakers don't act fast enough. In the same way, you cannot connect this inverter alongside a generator or a utility power grid. What you could do, is use the two inverters to supply separate circuits of the house WITH NO 120v CONNECTION BETWEEN THEM. For example one could supply upstairs and the other downstairs. But wiring the house like that could get messy and you would need a separate breaker box for each inverter. It would certainly not meet electrical codes

Q: Hi, I just purchased this inverter today and I am wondering why the voltage on this either at idle or with a load is only at 114.8 is there something wrong with this? Every other pure sine inverter that I own is 120 volts at idle and with load

    • A: Normal AC operating voltage is between 110v-120v. I bought this same inverter and it also runs at 114v and I haven't had a single issue! Been using it for 2 months and it is a beast!

Q: Will it automatically recharge and maintain 3 group 31 210 ah batteries?

    2 Answers
    • A: This is not a battery charger. It’s a power inverter converting power from DC to AC. It does not maintain the battery. Only drain the battery.

Q: Can I use this for sumppump to get power even if there is a power outage? I thought connecting the sumppump to this, which would be connected to a marine battery, connected to a slow battery charger. Could using and charging at same timw harm the battery

    • A: you can connect the charger and the inverter at the same time, it doesn't affect the battery.

Q: I turned on my microwave the invertor sounded an alarm and shut down, the in line fuse did not blow. I have used the microwave every day for a few weeks without issue. When I press the On/Off button power is on for a second and then turns off.

    • A: If the fuse did not blow. It might be the battery. If there's not enough power for the inverter to pull from. It will alarm and shut down. Check if the battery voltage is 12 volt or higher.
