Motomaster 300W Inverter

Works great. Did need hardwiring to the battery to use the full wattage.

Reliable power

I was a little unsure how well it would work when I bought it but I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked during the latest power outage. I connected the unit to my lighter socket on my ev which was running on standby all night in my garage and I was able to connect my router, a 23 inch tv, several lights and the unit handled it easily. It didn’t even get warm. Definitely handy to have around so you don’t have to sit around in the dark during a power outage clueless of what is going on around you.

Bought to attach to an old tractor's battery to run Christmas lights in a night parade. Worked well the one time I used it

Does not handle rated wattage

Inverter does not handle 300W continuous, laptop charger is 240W and keeps cycling on and off. It works for a starlink.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Will this inverter work with the Motomaster Eliminator (2.2 W) Solar Panel Trying to find ways to charge the GPS/cell phone on outdoor trips where no power is available. I have this 300 w inverter, on a bright sunny day will the solar panel be able to charge small devices or do I need the smaller inverters?

  • A: a 2.2watt solar panel will produce 18ma(milla amps)@ 12volts.to run inverter efficiently you would need a 240watt solar panel @ 12volts.remember a comment was posted that this inverter only runs off a 12VOLT BATTERY!
