Diverter failed in 6 months

Diverter failed in 6 months with only one person using the shower. I had a total bathroom remodel but the only things that have failed, so far, are Moen products. (See 7405423 Brantford Faucet ticket). Copy and paste the url to view the video:

sticks out far from plate, not "clean" looking

I purchased this with the recommendation from a plumber because we needed a kit, and he said it was reliable, but I was really disappointed with how it fits- with a wide space from the plate. Its so wide it looks like it wasn't installed properly.

We are sorry to hear the handle seems to be too far away from the trim plate. There will be a gap between the handle and plate. This will measure ¼” – 1 ¼” depending on where the rough in valve had to be installed in the wall. Fantastic Product but needs maintenance

We built a new home about 3 years ago and had 4 of these installed with the build. After 3 years, 3 of the 4 shower faucets (that get used daily) have started to get catchy and squeak when we turn them. I pulled the valves/cartridges (cartridge part # 1222) out and lubed them with plumbers silicone. Now they are working much better.
