Excellent motor never had an issue used it all last summer. I pilot remote makes it very easy to use. stows easily and had plenty of thrust on a 16 ft boat

Q: Do I power it with a 12 volt battery?

A: Based on Minn Kota's amp hour recommendation, you're basically looking at a Group Size 31 battery. Something MotoMaster Nautilus 010-3199 (flooded), 010-3190 (AGM) or 010-3196 (extreme-duty AGM). Of course, you could also use two (or more) Group Size 24 deep cycle batteries connected in parallel. How much Ah capacity you need all depends how much run time you need between recharges.

Q: Does the Canadian Tire Expert know what the product number is so I can order the US2 version of this motor in store? After going to my local store the department manager could not find the product number in his computer to order this motor with the US2 feature.

A: No this motor does not have one built into it. You can special order that one. Please contact your local Canadian Tire store for details..

Q: Does it come with a foot pedal? If not can one be purchased separately ?

A: No, with the Power Drive motor can only get it with a foot pedal OR with I-Pilot - not both. If you want both, you need to step up to the Terrova Motor which CT carries.
