For the price, this seems to work every bit as good as the much higher priced ones. Suppose it may not last as long as the expensive ones (but not necessarily as price doesn't always relate to quality anymore), but for the amount I use it this bit does the trick quite nicely.

Q: Can you use this bit in a rotozip? I have a rotozip and want to use it on 3/4" ply. I need to clear out an area that is approximately 1"X5"X1/2" deep.

A: Unfortunately this bit cannot be used on a Rotozip tool. This bit is a router bit, which has a larger shank which cannot fit into a Rotozip tool.

Q: How long is the cutter on this bit? ie how thick of a piece of wood will this trim?

A: The length of cutting flute from 54-6448 is 1" and the thickness of the wood being trimmed should be less than 1".
