Questions
Q: What is the tolerance of these taps? Why is that not part of the features/specifications? My old Mastercraft tap and die set is low tolerance and produces sloppy threaded parts. Is this going to be better? What’s the tolerance?
2 years agoA: From experience, tolerance was about the same as the Mastercraft tap and die set - not great. It all depends how careful you work with them and using the appropriate lubricant for the material you are cutting into.
