The bar boasts a 6’ (1.8 m) long, heavy-duty, 14-gauge cord that makes a solid choice for use in difficult locations. Not for outdoor use and not near water We mistaken we purchased this product to use outside and give us a few more plugs for our backyard pond. Unfortunately after reading the fine print I realized it was actually an indoor product only. With the GFIC rating I figured it would be outdoor. My mistake I did not read the info when ordering. Not great product for indoors!! Although if it is not supposed to be near water... I am not sure why I It touts a GFIC. Rating?

Q: We just purchased this power bar. The reset button lights up red and does not shut off when reset. Is it normal for this light to be red at all times or should it go off upon being reset?
