A: Yes this wire requires shielding gas all mig wire that is not flex core requires a shielding gas. The Canadian Tire number for flex core wire is 058-9300-6

A: From Lincoln Electric Company of Canada: Please note that sku 58-9324 is linked to our VPC ED561111, which is our SuperArc product line Mig wire, 0.030” diameter, 12.5lb spool. This is one of our best quality Mig wire options that will fit our retail Mig 140 and Mig 180 machines. The SuperArc L56-N is lot production specific, which is more of a requirement with the military and nuclear industry.
