missing the LED shown in the photo

A previous version of this cord that we own has an LED that glows when the slider is at the "off" position. A helpful feature when one is looking for the switch in the dark. Although the photo on this very review request email also shows the LED, the version of the cord we bought this week does not have the LED. It is missed already.

A: I know it was not true 4 years ago, but now it's writtent on the box that it support Dimmable LED, Dimmable CFL, Incandescent and Halogen. I want to correct this information.

A: No, this product cannot be used outdoors. Product 52-7544 can be used. The standard switch would be replaced with the transmitter switch and the remote can be used outside.

Q: Can the plug-in lamp dimmer be used to dim a lamp with multiple bulbs? My antique floor lamp (recently rewired) has one main central bulb operating off one switch and three surrounding "candlestick" lights that operate off a second switch. If I turn on both switches will the dimmer dim the overall effect?

A: The dimmer should work as long as the total bulbs do not exceed 300W.
