Poor connection and quality

The power switch which also the fan speed knob on the unit arrived broken. Given the fan's plastic construction and its $70 price point, I found the design to be poor and not worth the cost. Therefore, I have returned the item.

Q: Is this fan noisy for White Noise Privacy? There are lots of people searching for white noise fans that make A LOT of noise so it can block their movements from nosey roommates and family members. To block the noise of footsteps, breathing, talking etc..

A: No. I don't consider it noisy. I'm watching the World Women's gold medal game on TV right now, and this fan is running in the background and not disturbing my enjoyment of the game!
