Q: I washed this and let it air dry on a rack. Two days later I placed the salt in it and it was wet. I removed the all salt, it is still wet inside because as soon as I shook it, rusty moisture came out - and it isn't fr. my tap system.

A: Try using only hot water for final rinse. The water will flash dry with no residual leftovers.
