Kohler Purist Widespread 2-Handle Bath Faucet, Polished Chrome

This faucet is much smaller than I had imagined. While it functions well, it does not look in scale with the bathroom.

We wanted to invest in something that was high quality and modern to match our bathroom remodel. This faucet hit the mark. The chrome is beautiful and it has really elevated our bathroom remodel. Definitely recommend.

Elegant and Upscale. I would buy 5 more of these tomorrow. This is unparalleled to anything we’ve ever bought from Moen and Delta as a 25 year homeowner.

With respect to the overall look of the faucet, it is an attractive piece. However, the black matte finish is to be avoided. We purchased this faucet with a black matte finish. Within less than a year after installation, an inch long piece of the finished flaked off of the base (mount?) of the faucet. This part of the faucet is a low-contact area, unlike the levers, for example, so the fact that the finish flaked off at this point reveals the poor quality of this finish. I'm not sure is this is a manufacturing defect, or if this is just poor quality, in general. Either way, this is a disappointing problem, especially given the cost of the product, and the reputation of the Kohler name. Sadly, this is not the first issue we've had with the black matte. A similar issue occurred with a black matte kitchen sink drain fixture. While that particular issue could have been caused by use, having now seen the finish flake off from an part that gets very little contact, it seems that the flaking problem isn''t caused from use, but from poor quality.

Beautiful faucet design. Love the cross handles. We bought the Polished Nickel. It retains fingerprints and hand oils. I would like to see this improved. I don’t know how it will hold up long term.
