Spacious, Durable, and Stylish Deck Box

I recently purchased the Keter All-Weather Outdoor Storage Deck Box (870-L, grey wood-look), and I’ve been very pleased with it. The first thing that stood out was the size—it holds a lot more than I expected, making it perfect for storing cushions, garden tools, or outdoor games.
The design has a nice wood-look finish that blends in well with my outdoor space without looking bulky or plastic-like. The grey color is neutral and modern. Assembly was straightforward, it took a bit of time as it assembled on my own. The storage box feels sturdy once put together and the lid opens smoothly.
If I had to note a downside, I’d say the plastic panels can feel a bit thin during assembly, so you have to be gentle when snapping them into place. But once assembled, the overall structure is solid.
Overall: This deck box is a great balance of size, style, and durability. It keeps everything protected from the elements while looking good on the patio. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone needing extra outdoor storage.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

Horrible experience!! Ordered online, went to pick up and the cardboard shipping box was broken in places and taped back together. We said this looks used but were assured by staff it was new, all parts were there, just the cardboard shipping box was damaged. Not true! Started to assemble the deck box and realized it was scratched, cracked and dirty, part of the lid had already been assembled and the plastic to hold the lock is completely broken. We can never lock the box. Hugely disappointing when we were assured the unit was new. How could a retailer take something like this back and resell it without checking it out first? We paid full price and if we hadn't needed the box so badly, would have returned it. We always support local and Canadian, but with ethics like this, very hard to continue.

This thing is huge. We were afraid our oversized patio cushions wouldn’t all fit but there’s room to spare. And so easy to assemble. I’m a 69 yr old grandma and I did it all by myself, even the ‘2-man’ part. The instructions are easy to follow, all pictures, no words. We love it and we’ve had multiple complements in just a week.

Easy to put together. Love the large size for outdoor cushions. Happy with the quality. I wish it had a clasp or something like that for a more secure closure. Otherwise no complaints.

A: Keter deck boxes are made for all weather types and will keep contents dry. It is weather resistant, not waterproof. This is UV protected and will not fade. It is constructed from all-weather polypropylene resin plastic that will never chip, rust, rot or peel.

A: I took it apart. It seems to be fine, we just followed the instructions backwards. Some small plastic pieces snapped off, but they don't seem to be necessary to its function.

Q: The smaller version of this can hold over 600 pounds, but this one can only hold 110, is that correct or a typo please? I'm hoping to also use this as a lounger for my small patio :).

A: Hello, Yes that is correct, the 230 gallon deck box is not designed to be sat one. The smaller one is for sitting on and yes it is 600 lbs.
