Poor Quality

The bicycle tubes being made now must be of poor quality/materials. The design has changed over the years not for the better. Every time I go to inflate my tires with the "new design" presta valves with the nut next to the rim, I puncture the tube. I have a Bianci road bike I bought in 1989 and the original tubes in my tires lasted 33 years and that is from daily cycling on poorly kept bike paths full of chunky gravel. I finally had a flat and replaced with a new tube by Kenda. It lasted only until the next time I had to re-inflate the tire. I go through 2 or more tubes per season now. Those long Presta valves (1.25") punctured the tube and the self healing goop never worked. It just oozed out the valve. The original tire tubes on my 1987 bike never had that nut at the base of the valve and were less then an inch long. What's the purpose of these long valves and that nut? It seems to be a weak link in the design. The long valves just flop around and seem ridiculous. I've scratched my legs on them a number of time.

No, I do not recommend this product.
