    Bon rapport qualité/prix

Évidemment, il y a de meilleurs pneus sur le marché, mais le Kenda K193 est d'un excellent rapport qualité/prix. Il roule bien et dure relativement longtemps. Je le recommande !

    Misleading size label

I was looking for a replacement for the 27×1¼ inch tires for my 1978 Raleigh 10-speed road bike. 700×32 should have been right. However, when I tried to fit them, I quickly realised that they were too small. No amount of forcing them with tire levers would get them onto my rims. 700 mm is actually 27.5 inches, but just by placing a new tire on top of the old one, I could clearly see that the new one was considerably smaller in diameter. Lessons learnt: 1) never buy bike tires at Canadian Tire because you can't rely on the dimensions and 2) never throw away the receipt. Unfortunately, I did, so I can't even return these.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 3 of 3 Questions

Q: I have a flat tire, would I need to buy the inner tube or can I just get this product to Fix my flat?

    3 Answers
    • A: A flat tire needs to have the inner tube replaced or repaired with a patch. So the tire itself will not fix your problem. If your present tire is not worn out, then get a patch kit, which is easy to use. If you are not comfortable doing bicycle repairs and maintenance yourself you should take your bike to a bike shop. If you do need to replace a worn out tire, this is a good tire to buy. Good luck.

Q: Is it 700 x 32C or 700 x 38C? On the description, there're these two conflicting pieces of information. Please, review it. Thanks.

    • A: I have sold my bike, so I can't double check. But I think they were 32mm wide. They seem like good tires to me for my road bike. A wider tire would be more difficult to get the wheel through the gap in the brake pads.

Q: I have a bicycle that has a 27x1.1.25 tire, so what size tire would I need to replace with. Will this tire fit my bike?

    1 Answer
    • A: Hello and thanks for the inquiry. A 27.5x1.125 tire has a ETRTO of 32-630 and the 700x32 has an ETRTO of 32-622 so unfortunately that 700x32 tire will not work with the rim on your bicycle. We would suggest trying a local bicycle shop as the 27.5x1.125 size is not as common as 700x32. Thanks.
