JBL's jaw-dropping Stage 800BA subwoofer measures less than a cubic foot and delivers an impactful performance. Inside the slot-port enclosure is a system tuned 100 watts RMS class D amplifier and 8"" (200mm) subwoofer. The compact Stage 800BA will provide tight, deep bass in any car audio system. The subwoofer and amplifier have been engineered as a system to ensure great distortion-free bass even at high output levels. The rigid lightweight polypropylene woofer supplies the signature punch and clarity of JBL bass.

A: Yes. It has a built-in high level to low level converter and it has a remote trigger wire that you can connect to you radio or amplifier, so when they receive power and turn on, the subwoofer will also turn on.

Q: Is it possible to get the connector to plug into the sub ? I have the subwoofer, but the connector got lost so now i cant use it

A: There's no need for an external amp for these subwoofers. The JBL Stage 800BA is self-powered. Meaning, it already has its own amplifier within the enclosure that powers the subwoofer.

Q: Hi, I'm interested in installing this in my boat. If I'm running this direct from a source or from a mixer, line in, rca, would I need to decouple the remote from the wiring loom? Thanks

Q: This sub has a 16gauge power cable and I will need to run a 5m power cable from my trunk to the battery. Would using 16gauge cable at this length be OK or should I connect the wiring harness to maybe a 10gauge power cord?

A: Yes .14-16 gauge should be fine in wiring at that distance.

Q: Hello. What amp wiring kit should be used with this sub? I already have an 8 awg kit but the rear connectors do not seem to have the usual battery, amp Remote and ground connections.

A: Hi, and thank you for supporting JBL! Your subwoofer has a wiring harness in the box. You will see it in the owner's manual. This harness is used for all connections, power, signal, remote on-off etc. You cannot use the subwoofer without the harness. If you did not get the harness, I suggest that you contact place of purchase to get one.
