poorly made

Got 1 to try and it was great. then I got a second as you can daisy chain them together up to four units. when I plugged the second in and turned it on the first one popped and won't turn on and the second won't turn off with the switch. I think they were right to discontinue. Now I have to go and return them.

I bought 6 of these for a 24 x 30 shop but only installed 4. I had previously installed a Reactor brand with similar specs above the workbench but it looks quite dim compared to these.
At a 10 foot height they will each easily light up a 10 x 12 area if not more. If the cord was a foot longer the spacing would have been perfect. The only negative would be the mounting hardware.

I've been waiting a long time to outfit my garage shop with a led option as I was starting from scratch and didn't want the ballast issues of the old tech, at this price I felt the time was now, stock was impossible but I was lucky to get 8 of them. 4000 lumens 5k tempature x8 has me seeing just how dirty my shop is lol. Instant on, and silent operation combined with low cost and long life has me happy. Another bonus is that I can run 4 in a row plugged into each other and they have 5' long plugs so made it a very easy install.

4' LED shop light

I bought 8 of these lights for my shop (big shop). They light the place very well. Since they can be linked together it makes them very convenient to install. It comes with chains & hooks for suspending from the ceiling. The LED fixture is smaller then the 2 bulb florescent fixtures being replaced making it a much cleaner look.
They are well worth the money.

Q: Lumens? Color? Watts? Model #? One would expect the description of a light to at least include the basics.

A: Model: SL-002MFL-40. Lumens: 4000. Colour: Box says 5000K, Measured 4000-4100K. Input Power: 40 W (Fixture). (Note: Flourescent = 40/32 W/Tube + Ballast)

Q: could you please define "make every attempt" ? I dont believe the answer provided to my question yesterday. No store in eastern Ontario have the item in stock. This was checked and confirmed by my local store in Napanee yesterday.

Q: Why can I not order it online at the price shown? I have been to two Canadian Tire stores as soon as the flyer was made available. Neither store had this item.
