never buy hoover product

Hoover's customer's service is extremely disappointed. two different agents gives you different instructions. This product stop producing steam after few days. It is very heavy too. Does not clean or steam the area well. do not waste money on this. Hoover sent me to repair shop which is a waste of time again and again
No, I do not recommend this product.

Une machine franchement décevante. Elle a fonctionné un an, puis ne produisait presque plus de vapeur, que ce soit en mode portable ou debout. Je m'en suis débarrassé. Une chance que je l'avais payé en rabais et non à plein prix.

Q: How does the white pad stick on? I have even taken my hands and shoved it into the grippers at the bottom of the mop head and it still doesn't stay in place.

A: Mine has a pad that is blue on the floor side and white on the mop side. I just put the pad on the floor, put the floor head of the mop on top of it, and starting pushing it around. It sticks on there pretty good, even if you lift up the mop once the pad is wet. However, since you're just pushing the pad around on the floor, it doesn't need to be firmly attached. But it doesn't slide around, it stays in position under the mop head.

Q: It says it’s a stick vacuum but the description only talks about the steamer. Can this be used as a vacuum as well or strictly a steamer? Thank you!

This model works great with laminated wood flooring, as well as on tiles, linoleum, sealed hardwood flooring, vinyl and sealed stone floors. However, to use the steam mop to wash walls could cause paint to bubble, peel, or lift, due to the hot steam. It's also likely to damage the drywall or other material under the paint.
