The Hoover Hard Floor Canister Vacuum comes with a multi-floor nozzle to remove debris mainly from hard floors, low-pile carpets and area rugs, therefore it won't be as effective on high pile shag throw rugs. Q: Reading the specs it says 1.5ft for cord length.. that must be wrong? Do you find the cord short or standard size? Thanks in advance!

A: The power cord is approximately 4.6 meters total. There is a yellow marker at the 4.2 m length and a red marker at the 4.6 m length. There is a convenient foot switch to retract the cord. Best vacuum we have owned so far!
