Frustration

Replaced our last Honeywell thermostat, bought the T5 touchscreen programmable and a year later it turns off before it reaches the desired temperature. Replaced batteries and still not getting to the temp we want. Frustrating!!

Electric furnace buyers beware. FIRE HAZARD.

*neater than my old thermostat since it can cycle air around the house WAY TOO MUCH. Works far worse as it does not keep the fan running after turning the electric elements off, potentially creating a fire hazard.
After it has heat the house...the thermostat tells everything to shut off, leaving RED HOT ELEMENTS TO BURN.
My old thermostat had a cycle that kept the fan running to safely bring the element temps down.
I purchase some of your respiratory SAFETY equipment for my business.

Touchscreen not responding

The batteries for the unit were changed, but now the touchscreen is not responding and stock in Set the Date and Time menu.Temperature stays in the one set when the batteries died.

Works properly but missing features

Our previous Honeywell had both these features and I miss it.
1. The air filter change system is aggravating as there is no way to check the remaining time. You can only see the replace warning and reset it.
2. The program-ability is also weak, you can not control the fan by time period, only manually from the thermostat's screen. Very aggravating with our electric utilities multiple demand/price periods.
If it is not in a well lit area bring a flashlight to see the humidity reading, it is hard to see AND if you touch the screen to get the back-light it is removed from the screen.
