I tried everything in the trouble shoot guide and mine was completely useless right out of the box. There was only one more of these on the shelf when I purchased and the other had scotch tape on it showing it was a return and that should have been my first red flag. Returning this to buy a different model.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Bought many of these through out a few years, love the product but the last two I bought scrapped the bed so fast. I just gave up. Haven't gotten another since. Charge way to much for something that'll just stop working in a month.

Low end humidifier

Very mid humidifier. It’s a bit loud in my opinion and the design is unintuitive and makes no sense. You have to twist it and pull the top off upside down to add water to it. Like why? Anything you fill with water should not need to be tipped upside down. Water gets out.

The description says it runs quietly, definitely not! It makes loud gurgling noises and the dripping sounds are non stop. Very annoying.

A: You have to add several drops. One or two drops won't work. I used Peppermint Essential Oil and it works great.

Q: Just bought this humidifier and used it for the first time last night, it’s making on and off noise of water droplet sounds, is this normal? Will it go away?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. This droplet sound is completely normal when you turn on your humidifier for the first time. The sound will decrease after it runs for a few hours. If you are sensitive to sounds and plan to use your humidifier at night, we recommend for the first use, run your humidifier during the day for a few hours. This way the sound of droplets will be at a minimum when you turn in for the night. Q: how often should I use the cartridge to keep this humidifier clean

A: Thank you for your inquiry. The Protec cleaning cartridge contains an antimicrobial compound to continually inhibit the growth of odor causing bacteria and mold. Q: I am considering buying the Honeywell HUL 525BC mini mist humidifier from your store. Does it operate quietly? I understand that some humidifiers cause a loud gurgling sound when they are producing output.

While you may hear this noise at first, as the humidity in the air increases, the noise will lessen and lessen.
