Easy to install. So far so good. Still early in fall to rate the full performance, hence the 4 stars. Will see how it performs ones the winter sets in.

Excellent Whole Home Humidifier

I installed this unit myself. It came with all I needed. This unit with the auxiliary fan really puts out a huge amount of water into your home. I have it setup and running with my Nest Thermostat with full control with the App. I think it’s the best solution out there.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Easy to install. Works better than the flow thru I had. Humidity levels in my home are now perfect. Only gave it 4 stars because the fan is a little noisy and I can hear it thru my duct work.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: How this unit should be connected to water supply? Cold water line instead of hot water?

4 Answers
  • A: Manual says hot water is preferred, it will work better, but either will do. I personally put mine on the hot-water supply, and its working great.

Q: Does a sail switch come with the unit? Does the sail switch, that lets the humidifier turn on only when it detects the furnace come on, come with the humidifier or does it have to be purchased?

3 Answers
  • A: Not sure what a sail switch is, but this unit comes with a pressure switch and the tubing to hook it up. I opted to use it over wiring directly to the furnace and it works great.

Q: technical specification Can the equipment work with 220 V AC Courant. What's the daily moisture production of this equipment.

2 Answers
  • A: Passes max 18 gal. To do this you might have to have it on continuously without a pressure switch (or sail switch if older model). I ran it off a 110...220 if the outlet is the same then all the better that you have lower gauge wiring behind the 220...it'll pull the current it needs either way.

Q: Can HE360A be installed in the supply duct between the furnace and the A-coil? This is the only location it can fit, but I'm worried about the integrity of the coil. I don't want water condensing on the coil or catching dust and plugging the coil.
