These work great, the thermostat function is my favorite pet when the room reaches the desired temperature the unit goes into sleep mode until the temperature drops and it turns on again functioning like a furnace. It has come in real handy

garbage.. the fan is grossly inefficient.. heating is mild at best

After trying 3 other heaters, this one is my top pick. It does not rattle, squeak, or do other things it shouldn't. It puts out a respectable amount of heat and the feature set is better than the competition.

I live in a ~35 year old home. It needs some repairs. Some windows condense inside themselves, One exterior door does not seal. Ice forms on the strike plate. We have thermal curtains hanging in places. The basement is always cold. I have a rec room downstairs with a door, but the heat escapes through the triple window and the rest of the basement is 16-17C. The heater in the rec room is always on. We have Honeywell thermostats that indicate the wall heater's state. I bought this to heat the rec room. It works well, the room is about 13' squared. 8' ceiling. Once positioned safely. It's small but needs "breathing room" on all sides, 3 ft. in front. I like that it is tilted up. The safety features are nice. Heats up very quickly. It's light and portable, made with decent plastics. I like that you can leave it on, if you disable the timer, it will stay on until overheat, or another safety feature turns it off. Cons: -It's fan only has 1 speed. It's not whisper quiet, in fact it does make a whirring noise. My PC with 4 fans is quieter. I've had to turn the volume up on my TV. -It draws a lot of power. I have the circuit for the room maxed out. The 12.5 amps required, causes the ceiling lights to dim a little when it turns on, low, and even dimmer on high. Not extreme. But noticable when first turning on. I don't notice them brighten when it turns off. But they do. (They are high wattage "vintage style" incandesent bulbs. Not LED.) -It's internal thermometer varies by 1-2C before it auto turns on/off. (Set it to 21C and the room stays 20-22C) -The 4 preset temperatures are 18, 21, 24, 27C. More selection would be nice. 16C and 23C. But the internal thermometer variation is the reason for 3C increments. -It's not grounded. Only polarized. (Grounding is a safety feature that ought to be on such a powerful electric device.) Overall I am pleased, a remote would be nice for the price. But the timer and automatic features are fine. I wish it was a little quieter, but it heats the room quickly then shuts off for over an hour. My wall thermostat is set to 19C and it doesn't turn on the wall heater. It's doing the job I intended it for. It's Honeywell, a good brand. Nice warranty. Glad I picked this up. It's cold! And the power bill is mostly heating!

Very pleased with the amount of heat it generates. Also appreciate the safety features.
